These meals are to be prepared from start to finish. Marks were given for hygiene, waste management, time management, taste and presentation. The cookery course was quite eventful. Although I was the last to register, I learnt a lot – from the Spaghetti Bolognese to the Suya to the Pancit and lots of other dishes. I also made new friends. I am happy because I made my holiday useful by partaking in this course. I never knew that I could survive in the kitchen for more than an hour.

My experience, though short, was fulfilling. Every moment was worth it. Apart from learning new and beautiful things, I also got to interact with wonderful people and I felt the love and togetherness.
